Just mentally prepare for O

If it's not announced this weekend, it's O because Alleva screwed the pooch imo. If it's herman it'll be finalized tonight and announced tomorrow.

if it's not announced before sunday and there is not an announcement of jumbo getting an extension before the FSU game that would point to jimbo.

To me, it just doesn't seem like Herman will be our coach. He seems like a Texas guy and if it was anyone else I'd have confidence that we could convince him to come but since it's Texas and we can't compete with them money wise, I feel like we are going to lose out and have to settle for O

I pretty much agree with this sentiment.

One thing the Herman theory has going for it is that they interviewed CEO so quickly. I would think if they had their guy locked up and they wanted to keep O on staff they would want to meet with O right away so that some time can pass between the O meeting and the announcement so it gives the impression that the administration really did consider O and that way O doesnt feel like they were pandering to him, have a pissy fit and walk off like what appears to have happened at USCw. Louisianians are an emotional bunch and its real easy to cause hurt feelings.
