Do you believe he makes the move if OU was not about to join the SEC?
If OU stayed in the Big 12 or whatever, I think Riley doesn't leave. But he knows competition is about to get stiff, and recruiting is going to be that much harder in Oklahoma. (Obviously the money talks as well.)
I think he sees the writing on the wall at OU with them joining the SEC. Championships are not going to come that easy.
OU fans were so pumped now that they are in, but it may have cost them their coach.
On the flip side, Aranda and Baylor could be top dogs as soon as UT and OU leave.....that may help keep Aranda in place.
