If Herman was available, I'd call FSU AD and tell the guy, we aren't interested in JF. Thus you don't have to let Sexton screw you guys any worse than he already has.

If Jimbo really wanted to come to LSU, he would need to say something NOW. There is a really really good chance he and Sexton are playing us like a fiddle for more money, and you shouldn't take that risk. If all of this is true that Herman is interested in coming here, you 100% sign him so you don't get left and hung to dry. You act immediately and sign Herman if he wants in. Since there is a high chance Jimbo could be leveraging us for more money, I honestly say screw Jimbo.
