Which would be stupid. He would likely not be retained by whoever Ole Miss hires. So, follow Lane where ever he goes at ~$2.5M or be unemployed in mid-January with his resume out.

If we sign Lane, I hope he does stay at Ole Miss and we retain Baker. Golding was below average with a ton of talent at Alabama and decent/good at Ole Miss, Baker has taken the worst defense in P5 to really good in two seasons while having an offense with no run game and no ball control going 3 and out with regularity.
