I get what you are saying but O can recruit his arse off so building a team wouldn't be a problem. Once again I hope LSU lands Herman or Fischer but I really don't see LSU not hiring O if he runs the table. I can almost guarantee that O will be the coach if they win the West.

It's a lot easier to get a super talented, super experienced, very emotional team to play inspired football for one season when you are the fired up coach trying avery thing to wake the team up, but then what happens after that? What happens when you're not just the stop gap working with somebody else's players? What happens when that drive of "winning for Miles", and "winning for O", dies out?

I don't understand the fascination with Orgeron. His record at Ole Miss was horrific. I think we need a new offensive philosophy much removed from the Miles stubborn game plans.
Coach O is on the clock for the next 8-9 games. If he is the real deal, we will see. I think we can do better but its not my money doing the hiring.
