You're not the brightest star in the sky, are you(TigerWatch). Think about this. If Saban came back, he would take a huge bashing from the media. If he is willing to go thru that,then this is where he really wants to be. He really had trouble leaving this place, but knew he had to give the NFL a try. Once he realized it was not for him, he took the best college job available. If Miles had left last year Saban would have taken the LSU job over BAMA, without a doubt. Now that it will be open, he knows that this is where he should be. His wife wants to be back here also! And that means a lot because she wasn't thrilled with Miami and not with T-Town either. So anyone with any actual knowledge of college football and what it is about would realize this would not ruin credebility, but would prove his love for LSU, Baton Rouge, and LA.
