Why not? All the due diligence is happening now. They’ll probably have a decision by Thanksgiving.
You’re not going to see a caravan of coaches visiting the LSU facility. The talks are happening right now with agents. You don’t want to wait too long because of the December signing period and you want to give the new coach time to get acclimated and hire his staff before Spring ball.

With OU joining the SEC it is definitely a lateral
Move. They recruit Dallas as well or better than the Texas schools and that will only get better with them joining the SEC. They have a rabid fan base and more titles than we do.
