Kiffin would recruit at LSU? He has had some solid classes at Ole Miss with 17th nationally last year and that is not an easy task at maybe the second least appealing school in the SEC behind Vanderbilt.

LSU should reel in a top 10 class every year, regardless of coach, with it's in-state talent.
Kiffin would be fine.
I think having a "great recruiter" as HC is oversold.
The position coaches are who they spend the most time with in meetings and develop personal relationships with.
As long as the HC is an approachable, relatable guy I think you're fine.
Kiffin is that sweet spot age at 46. He can still relate but I think he's also matured.
He's not my first choice, but I wouldn't be upset with it.
