Then you would make a shitty boss. Bosses are not beyond reproach and if they don't listen to you, you have every right to go above them (especially when the boss in question is not qualified for the job and only got it under some "good ole boy" system")

No one goes behind his bosses back to his Boss without getting shite canned!! The first rule is getting along with your Boss. If you have an issue both of you would go to his Boss and talk about it.
