That's the first thing that stands out to me. He gives you zero of the gimmicky "let's all laugh at how goofy this guy is" talk.

Ohio State beat Bama in the playoffs because of Herman. Urban is a great coach but they took a step back when he left. This guy really is an impressive coach. I'm really not sure why everyone isn't throwing ridiculous money at him. Behind closed doors maybe he is getting that treatment but it seems like some schools aren't sold on him.
If I was Knight at Oregon I'd go all in to get him. It would be interesting to see if Tillman can get enough money to keep him in Houston to make one more run at a major conference. I think ACC would be their only shot now.
I'm actually starting to think UT is such a cluster that LSU could sneak in there. If they do have a chance and Alleva screws it up, then he should be booted.
I really don't think Jimbo is the answer. Regardless LSU will be back to giant pain in the arse and 50/50 games by next year or the year after no matter who they hire. They're going to get someone good.
