Ferguson is actually a pretty good QB. Not as mobile, but smart and accurate. Think a little more athletic Etling with a stronger arm.

Memphis has a good offense. They kill Ds that depend on speed. They struggle against more physical units.

Sans Fuente, Memphis is still a goood team. Novell has done a goood job in his first year

You guys watch. Mike Norvelle will be getting P5 offers starting next year. Memphis did a hell of a job replacing Fuente.

For those who aren't familiar with Memphis, Fuente was the first coach since the 1970s who wasn't fired. The first in over 40 years to be hired away. The only lone exception was Rex Dockery, who died in a plane crash in the 80s.

The fact that they followed that up with another good hire is new territory for a historically mediocre program.
