Ponamsky has Ed Orgeron as a regular guest during his year off, and ultimately creates a campaign for him to become DL coach- admittedly, anyone could have been behind that.
Bide time awaiting Les Miles' demise, which is foreseeable after 2014 season. Les Miles is fired, inserted as interim, and immediately name Ponamsky special assistant. Immediate PR campaign begins with cozying up to the media and having mouthpieces spread throughout BR.
The very first person he thanks at the press conference is Dererk Ponamsky.
