Could there be contract stipulations you get paid to coach last game but not Bowl game
When he signs I doubt he coaches either team's bowl game
Any ways it's just the right thing to do to inform his players and coach their last regular season game. No need to bail on them just yet.

That's obviously a condition of Herman's, not LSU's. Not many coaches would sign a deal during the season, even though technically they could. If Herman wants to wait until after the season then technically we couldn't get him to sign it until after. I don't see what's so hard about that.
