What are his longterm goals? Has he gotten head coaching out of his system? He's already had a turn at his dream job at BYU. He's still a fairly young man, I just wonder how he wants to end his career. Does he want to stay at LSU for the next 10 years, or is Baton Rouge not the place to retire with his family? I just really have no idea about what he wants for his future in coaching. He might very well be gone with Miles.

He probably leaves with Miles. I don't know why and I could be wrong, but he just seems like a guy who is better suited doing what he does best...which is call offenses. Cutcliffe is like that. I think Weis is like that.
Lots of coaches like that.
But, they may take a head coaching job just for the money and the severance pay when they get fired.

Gary Crowton and Michigan don't mix IMO.

Why?
Crowton does have a reputation of being a wide-open OC and Michigan does have a reputation of being a brute, power-run team if that is what you're getting at.......but you never know.

I agree, but where does he want to do that at? Does he go somewhere to retire or does he keep following around the best job offers(money, location, and working relationship with HCs)every couple of years?

For the reason you stated, but mainly because he will not have the speed to utilize his playbook. I just don't think Michigan will ever catch up to the speed of SEC teams.

I don't know. There was an article about him before the season started and he was basically saying that he just kinda does his things and looks at opportunties as they come up. But, I don't think he'd ever rule out becoming a head coach again.

I agree but I think alot of why Michigan doesn't appear to have fast athletes is largely because of well....they're located in Michigan. It's just that weather up there isn't conducive for blazing speed, in my opinion.
