Thursday:
LSU vs Texas A&M - 6:30pm CT (ESPN)

Friday:
Houston vs Memphis - 11:00am CT (ABC)
TCU vs Texas - 2:30pm CT (FS1)

Saturday:
Florida vs Florida St - 7pm CT (ABC)

I would imagine that Texas makes a decision on Strong by noon Saturday at the latest, but likely by Friday evening. Is a win against TCU enough to keep his job? Will UT players make firing him a controversial decision with racial implications? Does Herman see the situation in Austin as too messy?

TCU will beat Texas. Charlie Strong will be fired on Friday afternoon, after he finishes his Black Friday shopping.

Herman will be announced as someone's head coach on Saturday. I suspect that it will be Houston, but I don't know.

Almost every player on every team will be all in for THEIR coach. Players didn't want Miles gone, now they don't want O gone. Texas should probably fire Strong, but they are stupid if they let the players have any say in this.

Not sure why the Houston game is important, other than the fact that it's a day early and gives Herman, Texas, LSU an early jump on making changes. Whether he wins or loses is irrelevant.

10 pounds of nope in a 5 pound bag.

When Miles came to LSU, his players at Okie State followed the rumors the few days before the bowl game. Les Miles didn't tell the team until the bowl game. His team played lazy and disinterested and got crushed 35-0.

If Herman is actually on the move, I would not be surprised to see his players give up on a lame duck.

I would imagine Hermans players knew he was gone the second they lost their first game of the season. This isn't some new, breaking thing that Herman will have a big time job next season.

I would imagine that some realization set in when the Big 12 said no to Houston.

18-22 year old young men tend to trust the people who have earned their trust until the end, though.
