Football Scoop tidbits: A&M admins behind Sumlin

And no meeting with LSU and Herman yesterday
LSU: Bruce Feldman with Fox Sports reports that “Contrary to report, Tom Herman didn’t meet with LSU yesterday..Nor did anyone who reps him”. Feldman is specifically throwing water on a report from Glenn Guilbeau who reported that LSU representatives met with Tom Herman Thursday.
Texas A&M: A&M’s struggles in November (which coincided with the injury to quarterback Trevor Knight), had some wondering whether the administration might consider making a change; but sources tell FootballScoop Texas A&M’s administration strongly supports Kevin Sumlin.
Houston: Asked by Cole Cubelic if the reports linking him to Texas and LSU are false, Tom Herman responded by saying “Absolutely.” Herman added that he handles job rumors with players by reminding them, “Honestly, don’t believe anything you read.”

Don't they have a new AD coming in? I doubt he fires the football coach his first month on the job. Unless he was brought in to do just that.
