I think with a talented quarterback, Crowton would have had much greater success with the offense in 2008 and 2009. I understand that failing to develop a quarterback is on him, though the loss of RP can't be discounted as a big problem with at least 2008. In any event, we should thank him for his contributions to the last 4+ years, and wish him well.

While true, GC showed no signs that he could adapt. It was painfully obvious two years ago that we didn't need to keep dropping our QB back behind such a shitty line. Last year we would get into a good rhythm only to have it fricked up by 3 straight bullshite plays. He just never seemed to want to go with what was working.
