I still feel the same way before the announcement, he'll be a decent hire, win a lot of games but won't be a dominate coach. He may even win a national championship (don't all LSU coaches?) but he won't be the guy to beat Saban on a consistent basis, but then again, who does?
LSU is a great coach away from starting a dynasty, we have it all here and a great coach is the missing ingredient. I hope I'm completely wrong about BK.

Well frick him then. Tear up the contract. He won’t beat the best CFB coach in history consistently. Stop the fricking presses.
And so what. As long as he beats him one or 2 times before Nick retires, which will be in no more than 3 years.
This sets us up to be the dominant team in the SECw and the SEC once Saban leaves.
