Does anyone have an audio clip of Fedora speaking? This is very important before I can make a decision.

This report was from fricking FootballScoop, guys. That is the cf equivalent of the National Enquirer. The report was also disputed later as misinformation. It is likely completely false.

Herman has been wanting to be the HC at Texas for a very long time. You seem to not understand the money and power that is in Austin in their athletic department. Sorry to say Texas is actually a better job than LSU. Despite what the purple and gold glasses want to tell you.

You're wrong. That was from a personal text from one of Texas's most prominent alums but believe what you want.

If it all really comes down to this, then LSU was never a top 5 program like some have argued. The only thing this will confirm is that Alleva sucks and should have been gone with or before Miles.

What does that have to do with offering a blank check to a coach who has no P5 experience or a pinkie promise that the most meddlesome boosters in the country will "chill out"?

Fedora to coach a football team.
Orgeron to hang out in New Orleans with.

No Doubt Fedora. He transformed a USM team that didn't win a game to going undefeated. Then putting up 3 consecutive 10 win seasons at an ACC basketball school and not much football resources plus beat Jimbo and FSU. He would be a solid 3 option

Tough choice but that's what it will probably be between.
Alleva is a jackass. Herman will go to Texas and take Aranda with him. Jimbo will stay at FSU, and we'll be stuck choosing between O and Fedora or whoever else Alleva comes up with. Then Alleva will surely deal with the coaching hire poorly and piss off O and then he will leave too. Alleva is a cancer that we need to get rid of.

Maybe not

The meeting that FootballScoop broke was to be in Houston. That rumor was false.
