There's definitely a ceiling at UNC because the fans and admin will put far more resources in the basketball program. VT is football-first, and they realistically recruit the same region.
UNC isn't a destination job, so even though I think this is likely posturing for a raise, I would not be surprised to see Fedora move on in the next few years.

remember when Aggie chose Sumlin over Fedora?
Fedora is born and raised in College Station. That seemed like a good match at the time.
