Explanation for issues over the last three years

The reality is that great leadership is rare in academics and other industries. LSU and Louisiana are not top destinations for talented leaders. However, every once in awhile, a strike of luck happens and you hire someone like Emmert while they are ascending the ranks to bigger and greater things. Mark got us Saban, and the rest is history.
