Ok. I don’t remember there being a lot of players not coming to LSU directly because of his failure as a recruiter. The list of players he was primary or secondary recruiter for that did come to LSU is pretty impressive. That’s what I’m going off of. Most people can’t name a bunch of recruits he just missed on and most of the ones that are listed were never coming here anyway. People just act like he’s going to completely ruin recruiting and bring in 20-30th ranked classes, and even if he does have a weakness there, it’s not like he can’t hire people to fill that gap. It’s no different than anything else a head coach could not be an expert on. Orgeron was supposed to be the recruiting guru and we see how that shite worked out. Two years after Aranda and others depart were dead last in the SEC while pulling in top 5 classes. Doesn’t seem like a coincidence to me.
