If y'all will recall, at the end of 2015 when Les was on the chopping block and before he was carried off the field and his job was saved until Sept 2016, there was one name and one name only...JIMBO.
Then, when Les got fired after Auburn 2016, there were two names....JIMBO AND HERMAN. And that basically went, Jimbo...NO; Herman...NO. And then that horrific Alleva presser introducing Orgeron.
This year, there is legitimate smoke around Jimbo, Riley, Fickell, Aranda, Napier, Campbell and Stoops, with some others thrown in. What pissed me off in 2015 and 2016 weren't the choices necessarily, it just seemed incredibly lazy. This time around it seems as though there is smoke around all these candidates because they are all being actively considered and vetted. So, no matter the choice, I think it will be well thought out. There also appears to be much more gamesmanship this time, with some names probably being public that aren't being considered, and perhaps some not public that ARE being considered.
So, until we hear something, GEAUX WOODWARD!
