If he’s good enough for Florida, then he’s good enough for LSU. Now how do you feel about him?

Drink would kill it at Florida. Anybody who thinks otherwise knows nothing about him and Missouri.

Hed be a very good fit there, too. He's not a fit at LSU.

He's from fricking Alma, not Crosett or Shongaloo. Two very different worlds. One understands Louisiana folk and one does not.

According to BetOnline, Drink is now -105 to be the next a Florida HC

-105 is not a heavy favorite. That's even money.

I’d be fine w him as a tier 2 guy (along with Kiffin, Sumrall, etc) assuming the bigger fish are unattainable (as I assume they are)

He uses an analytics firm to make his assistant hires and they are the same one advising guys like Willie Frtiz and don't miss much. Drink got better because of his assistants, yes, but he also got much better because elevated Mussouri's recruiting from the 40s and high 30s into the high teens and low 20s.

Thats partially because of his NIL organization but also because he started putting a fence around Missouri talent that was leaving the state for years and began raiding good players from Arkansas because they went to the shitter.

He will make good hires. He's a very smart coach.

People said the same things about Saban and Miles. I like the idea of going back to trying to find a guy who comes from a “little brother” type school who wants to build a program instead of looking at a retread from a premier school.
