Does this new schedule buy Orgeron a softer cushion

I think it's tough to expect anybody to run this gauntlet of an sec schedule now, regardless of who our coach would be. If lsu plays tough in all of the games but still drops 1-2 games, will it be blamed more on the impossible task of playing so many games with no break in between?

I get the feeling, if O secures Aranda as his DC and loses a minimum of 2 games he sits at second or third on our list of candidates. Only Herman or jimbo would be able to dethrone him.
