Agreed because the job is Spurrier's to turn down. In the unlikely event that SS turns it down then JDR, while maybe not a slam dunk, is defintely a candidate and would take the job if offered.

My whole point in this thread is to simply prove that he would be a CANDIDATE. I do not think he is the next coach at LSU but it has NOTHING to do with his pay, the success of the Jags, or anything surrounding his current job. All posts to the contrary point to money, which if you know this business, is not always the determining factor. Show me ONE reason why JDR would not be a CANDIDATE that doesn't involve $$$....you can't.
