That's a big deal to some people. Admiral Boorda killed himself over some bronze "V" devices, so I can see people making a big deal of a misrepresentation of service. For what it's worth, on my last records review, I discovered that I don't wear all of the medals and devices that I'm entitled. (I'm too lazy on the little devices, and I didn't know that I had one of the medals - they gave us 4 or 5, "Thanks for getting involuntarily deployed to this particular place at this particular time, so here are a bunch of medals".)

And as I've said here before, I was the last "early commissioning" cadet LSU ever produced. That's my little place in posterity (because it was done alphabetically, and the Air Force went first.)

Chicken, I did a quick search of ESPN and came up empty. I'm not doubting the guy, yet. If he pulls it off, it will be a great coup for credibility in the future.

btw I did hear the report 1st hand several days ago, ESPN 97.7 ..they were jawing around like it was a done deal based on 'a source' (the day Peveto to NW came out) - but I've listened to this show for more than a year and they are not into LSU

So I don't get any cred for telling ya that Raymonds mother said he would be the DB coach. 
I supposedly ruined a coaching thread earlier this week for posting something my brother heard at her retirement party....

But Raymond is already a coach, his mother saying she was going to enjoy watching him coach is not exactly concrete. Did you leave some words out of the report?

Of course I did, after I got blasted because I left out what dept my brother worked in so I didn't finish the story.

This is most likely what happened chicken. Tigerdroppings was probably their source.

Oh yeah, it is kinda of funny but you know what, at the end of the day, this web-site get the cream to surface.. With all the posters on here, it's has a self filtering mechanism..
Enough connected and informed people post here now and and until it's (rumor or speculation or general news) confirm in some credible way, bad info gets anchored or wiped.
