He's terrific. Saban attempted on multiple occasions to get him on staff.

I wonder if the OC of Saban's staffs gave the OK in hiring CJ?

Overrated at both. Curtis hardly ever at all did in home visits from what I was told. He also did no work with the WRs at Tulane much. Once he became a HC he was hands off. He had a really good WR coach when he started off but the guy left to go to Nebraska last year. New WR coach was basically the assistant to the assistant WR coach at the Saints.

He has a ton of local connections and had a staff full of guys with local connections but you also needs guys that can coach football.
