I read in the official thread that he was a pretty good "marketer" and good at convincing people.

Rivals profile

Anyone have any good information on what he did recruiting-wise at South Carolina?

looks to me that he handled Atlanta and Alabama for USC.

Seems to pull a few, good players every year. NOt great but its pretty hard to get good players from Alabama and and Atlanta to South Carolina.

Doesn't look like he handled their big time recruits.

He did bring in a 2 a few years back and 1-2 4 stars and some other guys ever other year.

The 2 star was a db.... named Captain Munnerlyn. He'll get drafted.....

Yeah, but I would say that has lot to do with the fact that it's South Carolina. I don't see why anyone but a QB would want to go there.

ETA: I guess maybe a DB though...

So looks like he is good at developing talent, anwyway. He's going to be sick with all of LSU's talent.
