I think the possibitity of Les leaving is better than 50%. I am not sure his wife is happy in Baton Rouge and the opportunity to return home close to family and his and her school is too much to resist. The replacement should be Couch Mullen. He is a good coach and is very well liked by his players, good recuiter and knows the southeast. I feel what he has done at State is very impresssive, especially in such a short period with limited resorces. Hopefully, someone is talking to his agent. This could be a wonderful opportunity for him and LSU. Best of luck Les, I could be wrong but I beleive you will be talking to real estates agents in BR and Mich. soon!

Mullen should be at the top of LSU's list. Get him, keep Chavis, make a run next yr.

Do you remember him laying the wood to us last year? 4th and goal from the 1?

Coach Mullen should be a serious consideration if Les leaves. I like his style.

Mullen would win alot of games at LSU. There's no doubt in my mind about that. The question is titles. We hadn't had much luck the last 3 years in the SEC West. Can Mullen bring us back to Atlanta? He can't do any worse in this regard as it relates to the last 3 years.

What I like about him is that he seems to be a hard nose coach that brings out the best in his kids. Look at the QB improvement State made during the year. And he won't need a map to find towns in the Southeast. Knows the lay of the land especailly, Fla. Miss, Ala. and La. Nice increase in pay, opportunity to play for championships, easy transition for his family from Starksville. Hey Joe, make sure his agent is on your speed dial.
