If LSU doesn't get Herman or Jimbo will Peterson get a interview. He is 4-0 with University of Washington and putting up points. Washington is ranked #10 in AP, I know PAC-12 is down this year. He also help put Boise State on the map and won big games at BSU, also has dealt with way less talent and seems to get it done some how.

From all accounts he ain't leaving the Northwest

Petersen is from the NW, is at his dream job Washington, and has a sick kid whose doctors are all up there.

Pretty sure Peterson's daughter had some medical condition that ties him to the PNW. That is the story behind him turning USC down and subsequently taking the UW job.

There was a rumor last year he was interested in coming to A&M mentioned by several local beat writers. I put it at 50/50 it was true but it did seem to fit with his decision to move to UW.
He basically told everyone he was staying st Boise because he had a sick kid who needed to be close to certain medical specialists for his condition. But then after several years he moved to UW. Not sure if his circumstances changed or if he just decided it was time.
Either way, if he was interested in A&M, you'd have to think coming to LSU could be a real possibility.

My understanding is the the medical specialist was located in Seattle.

Maybe idk. His move to UW was strange b/c he had been telling people all along he couldn't leave Boise. His kid's doctors were not in UW is my understanding.

He is a great coach and I was wondering why I wasn't hearing his name.

See I didn't think that was the case I thought the one his daughter liked was in Boise and that's why he didn't want to leave

I don't blame him. hell, you can make your own gumbo, jambalaya and other Cajun and southern delicacies. just the climate and avg level of educated people make it a primo location imo.

Perhaps. Maybe Seattle had another top tier specialists that the LA area didn't have (hard to believe). Having lived in the Seattle area for a few years, I can say I wouldn't leave if I was him. UW is a sweet spot.
