not pissed about this one. I think chavis was a great improvement and wouldn't mind him staying around, but he still left a lot to be desired IMO.

I know LSU fans have a really really difficult time with this concept, but coaches are NOT fans. It is their occupation. They view it as a business. Chavis might have loved Knoxville and being at UT but at the end of the day he is looking for a job that is a good fit for him personally. A coach taking a job at a rival school doesn't make him a traitor or out to get you. It was likely a personal decision. Chavis is from South Carolina and he's getting older so he probably just wants to be closer to his family.

LSU may try going cheap route with next defensive coordinator. Grab one of those guys from a small school and hope it works
