Would the reaction to a BOB or Stoops hire be similar to the UT Greg Schiano revolt in 2017?

This makes 0 sense re Stoops.
Schiano and BoB are both scumbags who have done some messed up shite to cause the fan base to rebel.
Stoops is just a coach you don’t think is a good fit.

Let me clarify, I'm not talking about the reaction based upon the coach's personality or misgivings. This is not a knock on Stoops's character by any means. I am more so referring to the level of melt and uproar in general.

The average fan's reaction doesn't mean anything, but I doubt the boosters who are writing the checks for this overhaul would be happy with either.

Good point. The fan reaction actually did matter in the whole UT debacle though.

I wouldn’t be excited about Stoops, but I would have an open mind. If it were Bill O’Brien, I would rage.
