Took a 2 win San Jose State team and made them a 10 Win Bowl team in three years. Then went to a 1 win Colorado team in the PAC12 and after four years brought them to a 10 Win Bowl team that won the PAC12 South. Has some NFL experience and won the AFCA Assistant Coach of the Year (2009), Pac-12 Conference Coach of the Year (2016), Walter Camp Coach of the Year (2016) and the AP Coach of the Year (2016).

You did last year, that's how he won those awards. This year CU is meh, so the reaction to him will be meh.

I like him a lot. He's done an incredible job at Colorado.

Another reason is everyone wants sexy offensive coaches and that's not him.
