Did anyone have a issue with hiring a 34 year old Bo rein in 1980?
Yes, nobody knew anything about him. There wasn't as much information available to the general public as there is now. It was a radical departure from the grandfatherly type we had in McClendon.

Am I wrong to see a little Butch Jones in Fleck?

I'm one of Fleck's biggest fans now. He will be extremely successful wherever he lands. I would love him at LSU but I know it won't happen. He is a winner. He will get at least one national championship. Probably at Oregon. Just my opinion on the guy.

That's a little specific. How many great coaches have come from the MAC in the last 40 years? I'll give you a hint, a shitload of them.

As cheesy as fleck is he's growing on me. Many ppl that have Wked with fleck at San Fran and other places say he's brilliant. Excellent recruiter and great offensive mind. Some think he will be the next great coach
