That is odd. Your program has fallen from the SEC west team to beat each year. To the 3rd or 4th best program in the SEC west. That almost sounds like an Auburn fan having one victory over Alabama mean that much.

Meh. A lot of national people with no ties to LSU have said this too. I guess because he's from West Virginia and played at Kent State, they think he's more of a Northerer or whatnot. But it makes no sense to me. Bama is a much better job regardless, not to mention why on earth would he want to follow Paterno. And he's got a house on the lake in North Carolina, right? I don't imagine he'll ever coach north of the state of Alabama. I'd really be surprised if this isn't his last head coaching job.

His lake house is on Lake Burton.

All the speculation of Saban coaching at PSU is nonsense and has always been.

I'd imagine there will be a lot of folk involved in the decision on who will take over after Pa, and nobody on here has any connections to those people.
