Administration putting football program on cruise control-

That's what this looks like. Just like the Curly Hallman era where they didn't want to spend the money to compete. All they were concerned about back then was that the dept turned a profit. AS long as that happened, they didn't care. This is what's going on with the hand cuffed coaching hires. State money issues has the gov't interfering and I'm going to say that some of them don't want to throw away money trying to compete with Bama right now. Looking like they just want to coast along until Saban retires.

i agree 100%. They looked around last year and thought, we can spend 7 million/year on a coach and still not beat this midget or we can go cheap, stay in the top 25 and wait it out. Of course staying in the top 25 may be a struggle now
