I just finished watching Apocalypse WWI again and would like to read up on the US involvement. Any book recommendations?

The World Remade: America in World War I
Not focused on the US but excellent:
The Guns of August - Barbara Tuchman (mostly the first month).
Dan Carlin Podcast - Blueprint for Armageddon (6 episodes, more than 20 hours, the best podcast series I've ever heard).

definitely a strong recommend here. it's a follow up to A World Undone, which is a fantastic single volume WWI book.
also - i second the recs for both Guns of August and the Carlin podcast

Over There: The United States in the Great War, 1917-18 by Byron Farwell ain’t too bad.

Would highly recommend the Dan Carlin podcast that’s been mentioned

I’ve listened to Carlin’s podcast and it was excellent as are all of his podcasts. I’m more interested now specifically in the US involvement.

If you're into historical fiction; Jeff Shaara has a book on WWI. His stuff is very well researched, entertaining and historically accurate.

Probably not what you’re looking for but I posted this a while ago in a similar thread:
It's been a while since I've read this but I remember enjoying The Unknowns. It's a book about the pallbearers of the man who would be interred at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider.
It basically gives a cool bio of each individual as well as their specific experiences during WW1. If I recall, there was also a bit in there about how the body was chosen, how the tomb came to be etc.
