SciFi and Fantasy Nerds: I Need Help
I've written a novel and am looking to sell it. I'm putting together my pitch materials at the moment. One thing I've been told helps a lot is good recent comp titles (as in the last five years). I am having a tough time with that. Looking for any and all suggestions. Here is the longline for the book:

Upon learning that a sinister goblin cult plans to sacrifice his young daughter to a dragon under the next full moon, a societal outcast must face his painful past and overcome his enmity for those who do not see the world as he does, or risk being left alone to face an army of darkness and a malevolent god.

A couple of things. It's fantasy, but there is no magic. There are obviously dragons, goblins, and monsters, but in general, I wrote the book to feel as though it happened on our world a long time ago. Almost like an alternate history in which there were dragons, goblins, and a few monsters. I wanted it to feel grounded in our reality and play by our world's rules as much as possible. I'm not aware of any recent fantasy books that are written like this. Anyone got any ideas?

Also, it's obviously a rescue mission book. The guy is going to save his 6 year old daughter, and there are many times it's kind of him against the world. Any recent books like this that anyone could recommend?

Sounds similar to Conan's Hyborean Age. Although it has magic, it is usually very subtle compared to most fantasy series.

Right but that’s too old. Gotta be more recent.

Some of Mark lawrences books are low magic but dont sound similar otherwise.

Faithful and the fallen is relatively low magic if i remember correctly

Kinga of the wyld is a rescue mission but i havent read it and i dont think it has a similar tone
