I love the Cosmere, never read these books as they are in a different universe and it seems much more YA and geared for a different demographic
Kudos to Brandon for all the recent success

It is a bit worrisome that he is writing all of these scripts. The guy is a workaholic but at some point the novels will have to move back to the front of the queue

Tomorrow Studios, the indie studio behind Netflix’s One Piece, has set out to adapt for television Skyward, the first book in bestselling author Brandon Sanderson‘s Cytoverse franchise. Sanderson will write the pilot script with TV writer-producers Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.)
In the Skyward (aka Cytoverse) sci-fi book series, humanity is trapped on a harsh planet and constantly under attack by mysterious alien forces. The story follows Spensa Nightshade, a determined pilot who dreams of joining the fighter corps to defend humanity and redeem her disgraced father’s legacy. Blending high-stakes aerial combat, advanced technology, and themes of courage, identity, and discovery, the series explores both the secrets of the galaxy and Spensa’s growth from an outsider into a key figure in humanity’s fight for survival.

Sigh.

Sanderson routinely has a heroine or two in his books (Mistborn, Stormlight). It doesn’t shove feminism down your throat and they are very enjoyable stories.

She's not a girl-boss, and in true Sanderson fashion she's got a very well-defined personality. I would probably put her personality near Wayne's with how unique and funny it is.

Maybe I should give the series a try. I very much enjoy the Cosmere series.
I’d like to see high production animated Cosmere shows

Well you're getting live action produced by Apple TV instead

Yeah I know. I think animated would be better bc scale and spectacle of the story will be tough to portray live action. But we’ll see
