I'm looking for a book on the history of mathematics that is engaging, and not geared towards math majors to give to someone for Christmas. I'm having trouble something that fits the bill and is not a textbook. Any recommendations?

Not really on the total history, but I enjoyed "The Man Who Knew Infinity"
True story about Ramanujan, a great mathematicians who came from the slums of India and found his way to Cambridge University.

"The Loom of God" by Clifford A. Pickover.

I just bought one while up in Ann Arbor for the basketball game a couple of weekends ago and it is a fascinating read. Second Edition (1937 print date). First published in 1903 so it's an easy read for the most part. I'll take a picture real quick, hang on.
