Does anyone have a particular FDR biography or book that highlights FDR that they recommend? Heard a little about him on a podcast I like recently and became intrigued with learning more than the surface you get from history books.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

I wish I knew a book to recommend, but since your post has been left hanging out here unanswered for a bit I thought I'd mention that I enjoyed the ken burns documentary on the roosevelts. It isn't a book, but it was a good view of Teddy, Franklin, and Eleanor. It delved into their personal/professional lives as well as their motivations. I wouldn't call it exhaustive by any means but it is informative.

Thanks to both of you for taking the time - I'll check that book out, Geauxpurple.

These books are older, but James McGregor Burns wrote a two-volume bio: The Lion & the Fox, and Soldier of Freedom. Can still find them used.
