I just can't get into listening to books. Is this really worth it for just one book a month??

I love Audible. As for the value, not really sure. It probably was 5+ years ago but now with any diligence you can regularly get deals on books without a subscription. I think I probably come out a few bucks ahead, plus I like the library aspect. With promotions you can stockpile credits too.
I think listening to books has decreased my ability/interest in reading (I still do, just not as voraciously). But I can passively consume so much more information that it works out IMO.
Also, it's nice when you're looking forward to listening on your commute rather than dreading your workday.
