He actually does the reading himself. His voices are fantastic. He's a fricking genius.

Yeah, he does a great job with the voices (he was part of the cast of the audio version of Neverwhere too and that is very well done also). The stories are only so-so to me but I've never been much into pure mythology and if Gaiman weren't doing it I wouldn't have bought it. What I like better is more modern writing that is mythology influenced like Gaiman does in American Gods and Zelazny did in a bunch of stuff.
