Would like to have a discussion if anyone has. One of the best books I’ve read.
Here’s a very thorough review

I did years ago, but don't remember much about it. May be ripe for a revisit.

I’m probably gonna read it again after I finish this next book I started.

Highly recommend the audiobook as well. Really well done.

When I was googling for other reviews i saw a few people saying that. Would be a good way to “reread” it

Who do you think the person he killed in the hotel room was?
I think Noboru Wataya is the obvious guess especially with his irl health situation but something tells me it was Boris the manskinner. I tie that theory into how Lt. Mamiya seemingly breaks Boris’ curse by marrying the Kano woman after that.
Also think the faceless man wasn’t cinnamon, but the soldier that Boris had skinned alive. (What a chapter that was). Another possible faceless man is Honda, helping Toru the same way he saved Mamiya from the well.
