Does Ole Miss QB Matt Corral Regret Playing In Bowl Game After Injury?
© Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports
Ole Miss QB Matt Corral ended his college career suffering a right ankle injury against Baylor in the Sugar Bowl. Does he regret playing in the game, when he had the decision to opt out? Corral answered that question at the combine this week...
quote:

“They asked if I regretted it, and I said, ‘Absolutely not,'” Corral said, via ESPN. “I never thought about opting out. … It was never a thought in my mind. I was going to play regardless.”

Corral also provided an update on his recovery process this week.

“About two and a half weeks ago I started throwing and running,” Corral added. “… I am throwing at 100 percent right now. I just started taking dropbacks about two and a half weeks ago. Before that I was just throwing from spots, not taking any dropbacks.”

Not a quitter. Hard to find those these days especially at certain SEC schools.
