According to the Kenner Police Department, officers were called to a domestic disturbance at Galette's home. Galette was taken into custody at the scene.

No further information was made available.

Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Galette recently finished his fifth season with the Saints. Galette joined the Saints in 2010 as an undrafted free agent out of Stillman College. Last year was a breakthrough season for Galette, who's second on the team in number of sacks with 12.
Galette signed a four-year contract extension worth $41.5 with $23 million guaranteed earlier this year.
