Richard Sherman Signs Record Deal With Seahawks

Richard Sherman has signed a four-year, $57.4 million contract extension with the Seattle Seahawks, a deal that easily makes him the highest-paid cornerback in the NFL.
According to ESPN, the deal will pay Sherman an average salary of more than $14 million, exceeding the $12 million that Darrelle Revis is making with the New England Patriots. Sherman had this to say on his blog:
