According to NFL Insider Jason LaCanfora, Broncos QB Peyton Manning and Browns owner Jimmy Haslam could team up to buy the Tennessee Titans from CEO Tommy Smith. Per Fox 17 WZTV Nashville...

LaCanfora says family members and Smith could be open to a sale of the Titans after the Bills sold their franchise for around $1.4 billion. Manning's ties to Tennessee and interest in ownership would only make a Titans deal that much sweeter and could fetch up to $2 billion. "League sources" believe the Titans will be on the block "at some point in 2015."
The report makes sense on multiple levels and would be well received by fans. Manning played his college ball at UT and Jimmy Haslam's brother Bill was just re-elected as governor and has a 70% approval rating according to a recent Vanderbilt poll. Many believe Manning could retire after this season or the next, paving the way to follow in the footsteps of John Elway and start the next chapter of his life as an owner. The report did not specify if Haslam would sell the Browns in order to make a partnership with Manning possible.
