Cleveland Browns QB Johnny Manziel was having a grand ole time on his bye week this past weekend, throwing down at a nightclub in Austin, TX on Friday night with a bottle of Dom in his hand...

Per TMZ Sports...

... the second night of a back-to-back bender.
Multiple sources tell us ... Manziel started off his bye week festivities at RIO Rooftop nightclub in Austin on Thursday night ... where witnesses say he partied and boozed with friends all night long.

The next night, he hit up Summit -- where he grabbed champagne and kept the party rolling. Witnesses tell us the bottle wasn't just a prop ... he was boozing there too.

i NEVER liked the Manziel hype and laughed when he was catching flack in school for his living the life off. But the guy is out of school, and is on a bye week, who cares if he's partying? I'm sure some multi million dollar execs like to party as well but since they don't do it in the clubs, it's not highly written about.

NFL guys party all the time. This guy is young and living the life while he can. The only reason he is catching heat for it, is because he isn't producing on the field. If this guy ever starts producing, all this crap goes away.

Pretty hypocritical considering Gronkowski's image. Then again, the modern NFL is anything but consistent. I agree with Datbayoubengal, it has everything to do with on-field production. This is a way that Cleveland gets to "explain" their Johnny Football mistake and move on from it.
